Rachel is a sex therapist based in Orange County, offering teletherapy services relating
to sexual health and relationships. To better understand an individual’s presenting
emotional and sexual concerns, Rachel caters to her client’s needs through a
comprehensive and thoughtful therapeutic approach. Her primary objective is to
encourage healing conversations amongst individuals and couples who desire change,
clarity, an improved sense of self, or relief from trauma.
Graduated from Pepperdine University, Rachel holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. Rachel continues to expand her knowledge in the field of human sexuality as she is currently furthering her sex therapy education at the Buehler Institute in Laguna Beach. Her passion for sex therapy began when she was a teenager, impacted with a million burning questions about sex and relationships. However, it seemed impossible to find someone that was willing to provide the answers. She would often research topics relating to sex and share that information with her friends who were equally as interested in finding accurate answers to these questions. Committed to providing people with precise and helpful information, Rachel is dedicated to providing accessible care and resources for her clients.
Rachel’s practice is centered towards the client’s overarching well-being, considering their mental, physical, cultural, and spiritual dynamics. She integrates interventions designed to accommodate each client’s unique needs. Her therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Exercises, and Attachment Theory. It is through these practices that Rachel hopes to enhance her clients’ understanding of the connection between the mind, body, and relationships, thereby offering them an individually tailored therapeutic experience.
