What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy is talk therapy focused on sexuality and relationships, guided by therapists who are specially trained in sexual health by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).
At Togetherness Therapy, Dr. Rossana Sida and her team work with people facing all kinds of concerns, including painful sex, infidelity, anxiety around sexual topics, questions about desire, compulsive porn use, and exploring identity or relationship style. Clients often come in feeling anxious or unsure, and our therapists help them sort through worries, ease shame, and learn more about themselves and their sexuality. Together, we focus on building confidence and understanding, so each client can move toward a more fulfilling and satisfying sex life.
